Upload a PNG, JPG or WEBP. Vectaro rebuilds it as vector shapes: clean curves, real gradients, strokes as real strokes and lettering in its font where it can find it. You see the result, its paths and points, and a side-by-side comparison for free, then pay only if you download.
Clean nodes gives the fewest points and exact shapes: lines stay straight, circles stay circles. Best for logos, icons, lettering and cut files. Detailed stays as close to the image as possible and keeps fine detail, with more points. Best for detailed illustrations. Switching style traces the image again and keeps both versions.
One at a time. The trace that is running shows in the bar at the bottom of the app; start the next one when it is done.
Logos, icons, lettering, badges, clip art, line art and flat illustrations, including ones with gradients. Photos can be traced too, but they come out posterised, as with any tracer. Use the largest, sharpest copy you have.
The same trace, written three ways, all included with one download. Layered: whole shapes stacked in order, real strokes and fonts, the easiest to edit. Flat: every visible area once, edges shared exactly, nothing stacked. Cut: one path per colour with fades as solid colour, for vinyl and laser cutters.
They are standard SVG files. They open in Illustrator, Affinity Designer, Inkscape, Figma, CorelDRAW, Cricut Design Space, Silhouette Studio and LightBurn.
Previews you do not download are deleted 6 hours after tracing. Downloaded traces stay in My traces for 24 hours, so you can download them again in any of the three files, then they are deleted for good. You can delete any trace yourself at any time.
They are used only to make your trace and are never shared. They are deleted with the trace.
Tracing and checking the result is free. You pay when you download: one SVG, a pack of downloads that never expire, or unlimited downloads with a monthly plan. See Pricing.
Not to trace and check results. To download you need an account, which you make when you buy. It holds your downloads and plan. You can be signed in on 2 devices at a time.
Open Account and choose Cancel monthly plan. It stops renewing and keeps working until the end of the month you paid for.
Every trace can be checked for free before you download, so downloads are final. If something went wrong with the payment itself, for example you were charged but got no download, or charged twice, email us and we will fix it or refund it.
